The print companions to the practice on this site, organized by subject.
The CollegePrepRoom Publication Series prepares students for the SAT, the ACT, and five AP exams with books that teach the reasoning each exam rewards. Each book reviews the tested content, explains a method for each type of question, and provides practice that matches the current format and timing of the exam.
The four SAT and ACT books cover the complete test. Think Like a Top Scorer: SAT Math and SAT Reading and Writing follow the four domains of each digital SAT section. Think Like a Top Scorer: ACT Math and ACT English & Reading are organized around the content, pacing, and question structure of the current ACT.
The five AP books combine course review with exam practice. The AP U.S. History and AP World History: Modern volumes build source analysis and historical argument across the periods of each course. AP U.S. Government & Politics applies the required foundational documents and Supreme Court cases to new scenarios. The AP English Language and AP English Literature volumes train rhetorical and literary analysis for the essays and the multiple-choice section of each digital exam.
What College Applicants Learn Too Late guides students through the decisions behind a strong application, from course selection to the personal essay.
The series has one goal across all ten books: students understand why an answer is correct, apply that reasoning to questions they have not seen before, and arrive on test day prepared.
