Original practice material

Each question, lesson, explanation, rubric, and practice exam on this site is original practice material written in the style of the current exams. None of it is an official test question, a released exam, or an official scoring guide. Practice exams and rubrics model the published formats. They are not official equivalents, and performance on them may differ from performance on the real exam.

No guarantee of scores or results

We do not promise or guarantee any score, score increase, admission decision, scholarship, or college credit. Results depend on many things outside our control, including each student's preparation, the specific test form, and test-day conditions. Any example of a student result describes that student only.

Score estimates are estimates

Score calculators and score ranges on this site are unofficial approximations based on publicly available information. Actual scaled scores are set by the test maker, vary between test forms, and can differ from our estimates. Do not rely on an estimate for any important decision.

Formats, dates, and policies change

Exam formats, timing, scoring, registration dates, fees, and accommodation rules are set by the test makers and can change at any time. College credit and placement for AP scores are decided by each college. Always confirm current details on the official College Board and ACT websites and with the colleges you are applying to.

The content on this site is general educational information. It is not professional advice about college admissions, academic placement, accommodations, or any legal or financial matter. For decisions like these, speak with a school counselor or another qualified professional.

Accuracy and corrections

We check each answer and explanation carefully and correct errors when we find them (see our editorial policy). Even so, the site is provided "as is", and we cannot promise that all items are free of errors or that the site will always be available. If you find a mistake, please tell us so we can fix it.

Quoted texts and outside links

Some passages quote historical documents, speeches, and literary works, mostly in the public domain, with their sources cited, for the purpose of education and commentary. Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
