Advanced Module 2 Practice Set
This set is organized by mechanism, not by chapter, and it is mixed across domains on purpose: the harder Module 2 gives no signal for which skill a question tests. It is built around the structures that make strong students slow down: parameters, hidden relationships, representation changes, geometry-algebra combinations, and long contexts.
What this set covers
Twenty-two questions that mix all four blueprint domains: same-line and tangency parameters, derived targets, linear and exponential models read from tables, Vieta relationships and symmetry in quadratics, an excluded-value trap in a rational equation, successive percents, rates and unit conversion, conditional probability in both directions, standard deviation under a transformation, study-design conclusions, congruence criteria, tangent slope in the coordinate plane, pyramid volume from slant height, a unit-circle sine value, and a discount-scope model.
Directions
- For each item, name the structure before you compute: a parameter, a derived target, or a representation switch.
- Then decide whether hand work, Desmos, or a mix is fastest. Question 22 asks about exactly this choice.
- Do not look back at the chapters, and mark any item where the first useful move does not come within about twenty seconds.
- Thirteen questions are student-produced response; nine are multiple choice. Several questions use a figure.
When you finish, review the marked items first, then the misses. When this part is complete, one full-length benchmark test remains.
